Why we use AI sparingly

We believe AI has its place. Used well, it saves time and finds patterns people miss. Used without care, it gets things wrong in ways that are hard to see until they matter. When what is at stake is your policies, your approvals and the record that proves who signed what, that is not a risk we are willing to take on your behalf.

So we use it where it helps us run our own business. It analyzes our marketing and sales data and helps us build and run our website. It also powers a carefully trained chat assistant on our website that answers questions about how AllyMatter works. That assistant has no connection to the app, so it can never receive anything from inside your workspace.

It stays out of your work. AI does not write the code of the AllyMatter app, and our developers do not use AI coding tools. Beyond the account details any business keeps about its customers, it never sees what is inside your workspace: your documents, your people, your approvals, your acknowledgments or your audit trail. It does not learn from your policies, internal or public, and none of it is used to train AI. Our own team looks inside your workspace only when you ask us to help.

This is mission-critical data, and we hold it for you. A wrong answer in a marketing report costs us an afternoon. A wrong change to a policy, a lost acknowledgment or a record that cannot be trusted costs you an audit, a dispute or worse. Until we are confident AI cannot cause that, it does not go near your work or your operations.

When we try something new, we start small. Experiments happen away from the live app and never on your work. Anything that might reach the app is tested extensively first, and it ships only when we believe it is ready for production.

You will hear it from us first. Before AI goes into the app, we will tell you what we plan to do and why, on our What's New page and by email, and we will keep this page up to date as that changes. When it does arrive, we will introduce it at your own pace, not ours. You trust us with your records, and you deserve to know.
