Why we built AllyMatter for growing teams
I have sat through more audits than I can count, in growing companies where everyone wore three hats. The questions were always the same. Which version of the policy was in force? Who approved it? Who read it, and when? The answers were scattered across spreadsheets, shared drives and inboxes, and pulling them together took days we did not have.
The software we bought did not help. It came loaded with features, and we used maybe half of them. Nobody had the time to learn the rest, let alone teach the team. We paid for every one of them anyway.
So we built AllyMatter from the ground up for the way a growing team actually works, and we built most of it ourselves. It is not a big company's product with features switched off, and it is not on its way to becoming one. We are not building it to outgrow you.
Everything in it is something you will use. Write a policy, send it for approval, distribute it to the people it covers, collect acknowledgments and signatures, and prove all of it later from the audit trail. We left out what you would never open, so you are not paying for it.
There is very little to set up. You do not need a consultant to configure it or a project to customize it. Anyone on your team can open it, read the docs and start working, because a tool nobody has time to learn is a tool nobody uses. The point is to reach value fast, not after a quarter of setup.
When you want a person, you get one. Our chat answers the quick questions straight away, and when you ask for a human, it hands you to one of us. There is no loop of bot replies standing between you and an answer, and we are expanding our support hours toward round the clock.
Moving in should not be the hard part. On a yearly plan, we move your existing documents in for you and stay with you on chat while you set things up, so you are never rebuilding your policies alone.
We keep our costs low and pass the savings on. That makes AllyMatter fair, not cheap. Software keeps getting cheaper to build, and a growing team should get great software at a price that makes the move easy and never stands between you and automating your work. Keeping the price fair never means cutting corners on the security that keeps your data and your operations safe.
If your policies live in a spreadsheet, this is the moment to move them. A spreadsheet cannot tell you who saw which version or who approved it. We priced AllyMatter so that leaving the spreadsheet behind is an easy decision, and so that you have an audit-ready record the day someone asks for it.
A tool on its own is not enough. You also need someone who knows what your standard asks of you. That is why we also run policyandcompliance.com, where we lay out what each standard requires and list the consultants who do this work. Ask us, and we will find you the right one.
That is the whole idea: the features you need, the help you need, and nothing you would never use, so you get to value fast.
