Why we built AllyMatter

Because at every company we have run or worked in, the policies were the last thing anyone could actually prove. This page is the story and the convictions behind the product.

The scramble came first

The team has been through SOC 2, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and HIPAA audits many times.

The week before each audit meant chasing signatures across Word documents and attestation tools, reconstructing who agreed to what.

At one company there were five different NDA versions in circulation. Nobody was careless; the policy record was simply nobody’s actual job.

The team also delivered services to one of the world’s largest healthcare companies, where people could not start work until client policies were signed, approved, and proof filed.

When a company is serious

“We sent the policy” is not an answer. Proof is.

AllyMatter puts the policy, approvals, acknowledgments and evidence in one place, ready the day someone asks.

Write it down. Get it acknowledged. Prove it.

Everything we build follows a few convictions.

01

A record beats a recollection

Approvals and acknowledgments bind to the exact version and the exact text a person saw, with timestamps, so the answer eighteen months later is a record, not a memory.

02

A policy center should grow with you,and everyone should be inside it

Price by the people who build and manage policies; everyone covered can view and acknowledge at no cost, on every plan.

03

Serious features, sized for your business

Multi-step approvals, version-bound acknowledgment records, and tamper-evident exports, without enterprise ceremony a 50-person company never uses.

04

Plain language is a feature

Policies should be understood. Version Compare shows every changed word and a change count, so nobody re-reads twelve pages to find one changed sentence.

05

Your policies are yours

Data stays yours and remains exportable, including when a consultant runs the program.

06

Honesty converts better than polish

AllyMatter shows prices, says when a spreadsheet is still enough, and does not pretend to supply regulatory judgment; it keeps the proof.

Who builds this

AllyMatter is built by a small team across engineering, design, quality, and content. We have been through audits, certifications, and client due diligence many times over, and we have answered hundreds of client security questionnaires proving, line by line, that we follow our own security, employment, and data protection policies. That is the standard this product is built and tested to.

We are deliberately small, we ship weekly, and the founder answers customer conversations himself. If you want to know whether the product fits before you spend an hour on it, ask us directly.
